New SOAS FC Team Jersey of 2010

1st agenda:

To all players of SOAS FC, the jersey that all of us have confirmed was the nike 90. Red and White like a barrier (penanda jalan) type. hehe.. The price include Fooball Jersey and shorts, socks and jersey number. The price that havc been mentioned earlier was thirty Brunei Dollars (B$30.00) if want to pay more can jua..haha..no lah.. The price actually were a bit less but we round it up and the balance we will use it to buy a few new balls, a pump and probably gloves. About the jersey number, to make things easier just put a message on my 'pigeon' hole saying your name and the number you want and don't forget your shirt size. If you want to change your number, please put your previous number as well. If clash..you all runding sama sendiri dulu. I'll try to prepare the list. For me, my number is still 28. Booked already..haha..


2nd agenda:

If you all want to have a small gathering about our previous performance, probably during chinese new year. At school saja bbq like last time. So collection for food and drinks and prizes for top scorer, top own goal scorer and so on. After next game we runding2 ok.

Lost to Kg Menunggol

SOAS Arena, 30th January 2010: SOAS FC again was upset with its second lost of this new season with a terrible lost five goals to nill. During the first half, both teams was playing really well against each other but with speed and tactics of the players of the opposing team was better than ours, they managed to score their first goal. Kg Menunggol second game was from SOAS FC players own goal that was trying to clear the ball from the post. But unfortunately the ball spins towards the post and over the keeper. Chances were made mostly from the SOAS FC but "luck was not on our side" said from one of SOAS FC players. Kg Menunggol again add a few more goals which ends the forst half with three goals to nill.
During the second half, few substitutes players entered the field. With these players, SOAS FC almost made few goals but with the good experience of the Kg Menunggol goalie, those attempt was diminished. SOAS FC again made many shots on goal especially from the SOAS FC strikers (Cikgu Harlezam, Cikgu Haji Darul, Cikgu Zulhisham, Cikgu Haji Khairol Abdoh) midfielders (Cikgu Yusrin, Cikgu Azreen)and also the defender (Ustaz Shahroni, Cikgu Yusri, Cikgu Md Arizal) but again wasted. Fortunately Kg Menunggol again added two more goals which results in SOAS FC nill, Kg Menunggol, five goals. "We have the players but since this is just the second game this year, we haven't synchronize between each other yet because of the long term vacation from last years' game" says Cikgu Mohd Arizal. But the game today was quite an experience for us he added. The final result for this game was that SOAS FC lost to Kg Menunggol with five goals to nill.

First Friendly Match of 2010

SOAS Arena, 27th January 2010: A warm welcome to all the readers of this blogspot with a welcoming greeting Happy New Year 2010 especially to the players of SOAS FC. The first friendly match this year started as usual on the SOAS Arena Football Field when the home team was visited by one of our teachers (Cikgu Haji Khairol Abdoh) team of families and friends from kampong Tungku. During the first half of the match, SOAS FC has only 9 players whereas the opposing team has a full squad. Eventhough SOAS FC at that period were lack of number of players, they managed to lead the score one to nothing. The 1st scorer on this first game this year was delivered from a header from SOAS FC right defence player non other than Cikgu Azri Hj Sulaiman. Within the whole first half, only one goal was delivered, eventhough both teams try their best to overcome one another. At the end of the first half, the result was one nill to SOAS FC.
At the start of the second half, SOAS FC managed to have a full team players which comprises of ex-teachers, collegues and one student of SOAS College. Then with the position of the players were not properly positioned, SOAS FC have difficulties on scoring to the opposing team eventhough few chances were created. With the opposing team already knew the problems their facing can be solved, they managed to equalize within the early minute of the second half. Because of the miscommunication between the SOAS FC players, the opposing team again manage to score few more goals. The final result end when SOAS FC lost to Team HKA four goals to one.
Eventhough SOAS FC lost their first game today, they still have their football spirit to play their next game on Saturday afternoon 30th Januari 2010 against a team from Kampong Menunggol. See you all players on the next game and hopefully that SOAS FC will overcome any possible cause of losing a game.
