SOAS Arena, 6th August 2010: SOAS FC managed to win its game yesterday afternoon after beating the JPI FC with a trumendous 8 goals to 6. For the whole period of the game, the SOAS FC scorer was from Cikgu Yusrin, Cikgu Yardi, Ustaz Shahrul and Cikgu Alikhan. Eventhough during the second half of the game, the home team was down by four players where SOAS FC had made arrangement to loan some of the visiting team players. Scorer of the opposing team was unidentified.
During the second half of the game, SOAS FC again was as before but down with 1 player. So we were playing with 10 players only. Not forgetting also from one of the SOAS FC players for willing to be the goalie in which he had made several saves which helps the team to do more on the offensive side. The defender also have several opportunities to score goals but no luck was found espesially from the left defender (Ustaz Mazlan), right defender (Cikgu Md Arizal), cental defender (Ustaz Shahroni) and the stopper (Cikgu Azreen). Sorry for the other players for not putting your names. Hehe.. eventhough skills for the midfielders and the strikers was very good.
With the good communication skills (apanya orang ani..mehaik2 (menjerit2)), we managed to enjoy the friendly game.

3rd Defeat

SOAS Arena, 8th May 2010: SOAS FC again was visited by Kroniz FC comprises of education officers, senior education officers, government and also private sectors players. And SOAS FC comprises of mostly teachers and students. During the first half, the visiting team scored its first goal and a few minutes after that, the home team managed to equalize the score from Cikgu Alikhan. Then the visiting team managed again to score two more goals. This score remains 3 goals to 1 to Kroniz FC.

During the second half of the game, again the visiting team again manages to score another two more goals one from a near range and the other from a header. But SOAS FC never backed down but instead managed to score from a long range kick by Cikgu Harlezam. Eventhough the home ream realize that few of the visiting team goals was in the offside position, still this never change the result of SOAS FC was backed by 3 goals. This results stayed until the end of the second half.

This is the 2nd time that we've lost in the three games that we've meet since 2009. Hopefully next time, we will surely win with more players to be available during the game.

Not forgetting all the players that have been supportive during the game. Eventhough that we've lost does not mean that we will stay losing. Our next game will be on Monday against the PSJD.

Defeated again because...

SOAS Arena, 6th May 2010: SOAS FC was again visited by the Museum Department but unfortunately, they were not playing with their usual players as before. Instead, many of them were from divisions players. With the super goalie available, we were able to 'almost' win.

During the first half of the game, the home team was lack of 1 player in which we kinda loan for a few minutes in the first half. This made the formation not really in a proper way. Our post was injected by three goals in the first half. But most of the goals was in the offside position where the referee just say to carry on. This nade the home players very frustrated in this half. Then our striker made almost to deliver a goal but just pass near the post. But lastly, our striker, Cikgu Alikhan managed to score from a long range lob kick.

The second half started with a great wisdom from our goalie used to be 'Messiman', where he saved many shots from the opposing team. Instead with the good connection in this second half, SOAS FC managed to score two goals leveling the visitors team that was from Cikgu Yusrin and Ustaz Mazlan where he played as the right winger. Great saves were made again by our 'Messiman' including a great throw body and also tipping the ball pass the overhead post.

But just at one time, the luck was not up to him. The visiting striker managed to score a goal from the inside of the penalty box. Even though we try so many tactics, we almost managed to score few goals but because of the arrangement of the players was not as usual and together with the unavailable of the supersub, we fail to finished the game with a draw.

At the end of the second half, the home team lost by one goal. But this will never mourn the home players because this was considered as the preparation for the next game against veterans and youngsters from Kroniz FC this Saturday afternoon.

Not forgetting the other players for trying and playing so hard with limited number of players especially to the defenders; Ustaz Shahroni, Cikgu Arizal, Cikgu Yusri and Cikgu Irwan.

Scorer: CIkgu Alikhan (1), Cikgu Yusrin (1) & Ustaz Mazlan (1).

Defeated

SOAS Arena; 4th May 2010. Just short and simple, SOAS FC lost to team HKA seven to five in which the home team manage to make an early lead five to two but was unlucky in the second half which the visiting team manage to score five. The home team scorer was from Cikgu Alikhan, Cikgu Yusrin, Cikgu Harlezam and CIkgu Zulhisham. The result of this defeat was unpredictable because of the absence of linesman and the penalty kick that was awarded to the visiting team in which it was a fair challenge by Cikgu Arizal.

Next game will be on Thursday 6th of May against the Museum Department. This will be our 2nd match this season with the visiting team.

Scorer: Cikgu Alikhan (2), Cikgu Yusrin (1), Cikgu Harlezam (1) and Cikgu Zulhisham (1).

3rd Victory to SOAS FC

SOAS Arena: 1st May 2010: In this game, the home team was visited by the away team from the PABIKA FC. As the players noticed, most of the away team players were young and comprises of SOAS and X-SOAS students. Eventhough they are not really experience but their speed of attack was very job well done. But we have also a winger with good speed that is Ustaz Haslin. With him around, it is easier for the defender and the midfield players to pass the ball. With his passing as an assists, many opportunities was given but luck was not in our side. Unfortunately no scored was eliminated by them in the 1st half. Same for SOAS FC, some goals would have been achieve but because of the condition of the field made us very difficult to play. The game was leveled scoreless in the 1st half.

During the 2nd half of the game, the home team had many opportunities as well as the visiting team. But with the good performance of the SOAS FC goal keeper which he mostly saved the post from attacks of the visiting team. A very good job well done. To the defenders, also a very good communication within our players, eventhough one of our defender, jersey 20 was toppled over with face first on the ground. Around 15 minutes after the first half whistle was blown, SOAS FC managed to score its goal through a very high ball but just a few feet from the goal post. You can say a very lucky opportunity and very well eliminated.

The final whistle blows with the result in a win for SOAS FC with one to nill. Eventhough SOAS FC during that game was lack of star players like Cikgu Arshad (MessiMan), Cikgu Yusri Tuah, Cikgu Hajis, Cikgu Md Arizal and Ustaz Shahroni, SOAS FC still managed to win the game. Congrats to the players playing that day and hope with the star players available in the next game we will be more superior in controlling the game.

Scorer: Ustaz Shahrul (1).

SOAS FC VICTORIOUS AGAIN

SOAS Arena, 29th April 2010: The home team was visited by the Emergency Department from the RIPAS Hospital in which the jersey was the same brand with the same design but different in colour. SOAS FC as you all know was in their lucky green whereas the visitors team was with their blue tone.

During the first half of the game, the visiting team was in tip top condition in which most of the players was fast as lightning, going here and there with good communication. But for the home team, the time was not yet up for them where we usually was lack in warming up session. The home team started with 10 players but the long awaited player, Cikgu Arizal finally arrive where he missed the 2 games before. The away team managed to score its first goal but SOAS FC managed to equalize the game with the goal from our 'red bull' defender, Ustaz Shahroni. More tries was given by both teams but unlucky to complete. The game was leveled until the first half ends.

On the second half of the game, the opposing team again managed to lead the home team by two goals to one because of the mistake on trapping the offside. Nevertheless, SOAS FC still did not hessitate to play even better with more confidence especially from our striker which he called himself "Messi-Man was able to dribble and leaving four opposing team defenders behind him. But unfortunately, missed to target the post like using a driver in a golf course which swirl away to the right. And again before he made that attempt, he did gave an assist to SOAS FC equalizer, Cikgu Zulhisham which levels the score.

The away team was trying even harder to score goals but with the good effort from our defender, they failed. SOAS FC goal winner was from our the left winger nor the right winger nor the striker was able to finish a lovely goal from the right side of the keeper which he tried to cross but luckily it swirl towards the goal which wins SOAS FC match yesterday. A very good effort to the all team players of the SOAS FC where with this win, we will be heard by other teams to play with other outside teams in which we will gain more experience and challenges.

Finally the score was a win to SOAS FC with 3 goals to 2 to the RIPAS Emergency FC.

Scorer: Ustaz Shahroni (1), Cikgu Zulhisham (1), Ustaz Shahrul (1).

Another BIG win for SOAS FC

SOAS Arena, 26th April 2010: SOAS FC was visited by the football team from the Muzeum Department. SOAS FC with its green jersey was very confident to get a win for this match. Not until the first half of the game, in the early minute, the muzeum department was was able to score its first goal making the SOAS FC players stunned. With this, our team was trying to adjust the game played with different attacking strategies.

Not long after that, SOAS FC was able to equalize through our left winger, Cikgu Yusrin. And SOAS FC was again being threatened with a very surprisingly museum striker with a great run from the right. With great defend from the home team, they failed to score. But in the end, they managed to score from a long range kick from the right. SOAS FC managed to level the score from Cikgu Harlezam with its simple but nice kick.

SOAS FC pushed again until Cikgu Arshad almost scored but unluckily missed. And our player, jersey 7 who thought that he 'scored' pointed a victory finger in which he had made the ball through the leg of the keeper but being slightly pushed out from the goal line. SOAS FC then was given a free kick near the oppsition goal post which was scored perfectly by our central defender Ustaz Shahroni. SOAS FC kept pushing and pushing until mostly all the striker and midfield players try to score with a very confident mode. Eventually, Cikgu Arshad managed to score SOAS FC 4th goal during the 1st half.

With more striker players present, SOAS FC managed to score another goal with a nice placing from the assist of Cikgu Arshad which was finished by Cikgu Hj Darul. The opposing team try very hard to score but failed to do so. Another goal was scored again by our left winger through his corner kick that went straight to the visitors goal. This changes the score with SOAS FC leading the museum department with seven goals to two. Few incidents happened mostly on the 2nd half which our former striker was hit a few times but the opposing team. With the third hit, the referee was like very unprofessional about the way he judge in which he should cease the game if some major problems arise, in this case the collision between the players involved was very devastating. Even though the game was just a friendly match, referee should take necessary precaution on what he should have done when this type of problem arise. Same with our 'Messi-Man' who was almost tripped by the visiting team but no foul was given. Referee, please be professional.

The game finishes with a victory to SOAS FC with seven goals to two. The manager of the museum department again wishes to play a rematch again soon on the 6th of June 2010. The match will be updated soon through the shout out box in this blog. Congratulation to the players with this great victory against the visiting team., Wish we will have the same strategies for the next game.

Scorer: Cikgu Yusrin (2), Cikgu Harlezam (2),Ustaz Shahroni (1), Cikgu Arshad (1) & Cikgu Haji Darul (1).

NEW JERSEY 1st LOST to PEGUMA

SOAS Arena, 22nd April 2010: SOAS FC was visited by the PEGUMA FC in which we got our 1st loss using the new SOAS FC green jersey. During the 1st half of the game, the visitors were able to score its first goal whereas the home team just scoreless. This results stayed until the end of the 1st half eventhough SOAS FC were trying their best to score goals.

2nd half of the game was played with both teams having their 11 players on the field. With games played every week but with our players on their wrong position, this made the team not balanced in terms of attacking and defending. this results in the 2nd goal from the visiting team which makes SOAS FC trailing by two goals to nill. But with the good performance of the home team that started to build up within the defender to the midfielder and to the srtikers, SOAS FC managed to score a goal from Cikgu Hajis. But unfortunately, our only scorer of that game made a very meraculious goal not to the visiting team, but to his own net with a clean unguarded header.

SOAS FC will be having its next game on Monday the 26th of April 2010. See you all in the field.

Scorer: Cikgu Hajis (1), Cikgu Hajiz (OG-1)

But with the second half, SOAS FC failed to score early but the away team managed to score also from the first two scorer of the SMRIPAS making him to score a hatrick.

With the good performance of the SOAS FC players, our team again able to score three more goals from Cikgu Yusrin and the 2 goals was scored by Cikgu Hj Darul. Congrats to the SOAS FC players. Even though one of our striker was accidentally slapped by the goal keeper, we still managed to have a good game and hopefully it will continue within the next game.

A Great Win By SOAS FC

SOAS Arena, 15th March 2010: A good start for the SOAS FC in the first half in which the first goal of this match was scored by our midfielder Cikgu Yusrin with the assist from Cikgu Azreen. Then the second goal was scored by the defence midfielder Cikgu Azreen through shooting from outside the penalty box. This score stayed until the end of the first half. With the great combination from the defender to the midfield to the winger and to the striker, SOAS FC managed to organize the game thoroughly and beautifully.

On the second half of the game, SOAS FC again managed to score its third goal from a long range kick from Cikgu Harlezam whereas the fourth goal again was scored by Cikgu Yusrin. This makes the game more interesting and enjoyable since SOAS FC managed to score a number of goals in this game. Good teamwork within the players who almost scored especially by Cikgu Yardi with a great run, Cikgu Yus with its sidekick another Cikgu Yusri with a good hold of the ball, Cikgu Hajis, Ustaz Shahroni, Cikgu Arizal, Ustaz Mazlan and many more players with good and confident team play within them. Then with a good pass from one of the SOAS FC players, our right winger Cikgu Harlezam again scored his second goal in this game through a simple kick to the right side of the post. Because of the enjoyment of scoring, the opposing team managed to score 3 goals within 10minutes. There's also one few incident that made SOAS FC players a bi frustrated because of the judgement of the referree where few fouls was not given to the home team where Cikgu Yardi was tripped in the penalty box but the refferee gavea corner kick instead. Cikgu Harlezam was tripped too but no fouls given, Cikgu Azreen was triped and thrown over with shoulder hit the ground first but no fouls given and actually lots more.

But our striker, Cikgu Arshad, was able to score SOAS FC sixth goal of the game with his new white boots. Congrats to the SOAS FC players playing in the 1st and the 2nd half with fun and confidence.

Scorer: Cikgu Yusrin (2), CIkgu Harlezam (2), Cg Arshad (1), Cikgu Azreen (1).

1st WIN TO SOAS FC with NEW JERSEY

SOAS Arena, 13th March 2010: SOAS FC was visited by the family team of Cikgu Yusri where they are using a yellow coloured jersey while SOAS FC were using a new and improved green jersey. And this cause frustration to the SOAS FC players because of no foul given to the keeper.

p/s: Sorry to the readers of the less information on this game.

Beaten again by the same team

SOAS Arena, 10th March 2010: SOAS FC again was beaten by the same team as in the last game. But for several reasons. Reason 1: No goal keeper available (have to rely on the defender), Reason no 2: Lack of players (only 8 players were playing in the first half), Reaon no 3: Still thinking..hehe.

SOAS FC managed to score its first goal through Cikgu Arshad. But unfortunately, the opposing team managed to equalize not long before the end of the first half. In the second half, the opposing team managed lead by two goals to one. But most of the ball posession belong to SOAS FC around 60-40. Great work for the SOAS FC players on playing this game evenhough we lost again but no matter what the result is, we're still the SOAS FC that enjoy every game.

Since SOAS FC have their new jersey, the others that have not purchase, may buy it themselves at crown sport in Delima 1. Same building as Jollibee. Or if you have any questions about the jersey, you can contact Cikgu Md Arizal or Cikgu Hajis.

Scorer: Cikgu Arshad (1)

SOAS FC beaten again

SOAS Arena, 5th April 2010: SOAS FC leads by 1 goals to nil just a few seconds after the whistle blows. It was from the long range kick from our defender, Cikgu Hajis who managed to cheer all the spectators watching at that time. But soon after, the opposing team managed to equalise through a simple one on one tactic which made it easy for them to score. Not long after that a penalty was given to the opposing team where our midfield player has made a foul inside the penalty box. The results was opposing team trailing by one goal. Before the 1st half ended, SOAS FC equalise through non other the savoiur Cikgu Zulhisham with his left foot.

The second half was a bit tragedy for SOAS FC in which the opposing team managed to score two more goals, whereas the home team had no chance on scoring as they use to. The final score was SOAS FC lost to TFCY (Team family CIkgu Yardi) with 2 goals to 4.

Next game will be on Saturday afternoon against the Team Court.

Stats 4 d last 2 games b4 holiday

SOAS Arena, The result for the last 2 games was almost forgotten because of the busy schedule that the editor was facing. But fortunately, I was able to spend a little bit of time just to say or a bit of brief comments regarding our game last week. Our game was played on Monday and Thursday consecutively and the results was that we've lost one and draw the other in which I completely forget the name of the teams. But nevertheless, we enjoy the game. The goal scored which I remembered during the game was an own goal by the opposing team that was assist by our midfield attacker striker, Cikgu Yusrin. And the second goal that considered to be an own goal by the opposing goalie that was from a free kick outside the penalty box by Cikgu Hajis, but he considered to be his. Aboht the last game before the holiday, the result if I was not mistaken was that we only lost 0 to 1 against the opposing team. So overall, we enjoy the game and even really enjoy that some of the players that seldom played with us because busy working have a chance to play together again.

So hopefully, we will start playing the next game after the school holidays are over and again, hopefully we will have our new jersey in the next game.

Thank You

SOAS FC vc PEMODA

SOAS Arena, 7th March 2010: After two successive defeats, SOAS FC managed to level the score and early in the second half by a superp header from Cikgu Azreen with the assists from Ustaz Haslin's cross from the right. Due to the lack of SOAS FC players, they still managed to make counter attack to the opposing team in which SOAS FC almost scored its second goal but the goalie managed to block it close to the goal line. This results in 'shocked' from the SOAS FC players mostly from the defenders and the midfielders that a simple goal is already enough for SOAS FC to be on top again. But again , luck was not on SOAS FC side.

During the first half of the game, SOAS FC managed to control the ball posessions more than the opposing team, but since SOAS FC still lack of getting the offside trap, PEMODA managed to score with a simple chip to the SOAS FC goal post. From this, our players started to play with more organizing movement and organizing position and the results remains one goal to nil to SOAS FC till the end of the first half.

On the second half, our players saw that the opposing team were playing with a new super sub in which eleven players were substitute making this team to be a new 2nd half team. This doesn't make SOAS FC players 'gagar' (afraid), but still our team managed to score - from the earlier report.

The results remains a tie until the final whistle blown. With this game experience against the outside team that is more experience than ours, we learned that communication between the team players and the cooperation within are much more effective. On behalf of the soasfc blogspot administration and editor, congratulations to the SOAS FC players for the wonderful game since full cooperation was given within the team itself. See you in the next game !!

Warming Up Game

SOAS Arena, 4th Match 2010: Yesterdays match was considered to be a warm up game as stated by one of the SOAS FC midfielders, Cikgu Yusrin. Unfortunately, SOAS FC was 'gunned' down by eight goals to two. SOAS FC only managed to score one goal during the first half of the match from SOAS SM, Cikgu Zulhisham with the assists from Cikgu Yusrin. Goals after goals was scored by the opposing team which result on 5 goals to 1.

During the second half of the game, the ATU FC again managed to score more and more goals whereas SOAS FC only managed to score one in which the goal was scored by SOAS mathematics teacher, Cikgu Hj Darul through the assists from Cikgu Azreen. The final score was SOAS FC lost to ATU (Angkatan Tentera Udara) with 8 goals to 2. Eventhough SOAS FC lost big yesterday, SOAS FC will never back down and never give up on trying to be a one winning team. SOAS Arena, 6th February 2010: SOAS FC finally won its match this season with a big win with five goals to two. During the first half, SOAS FC scored two goals in which the first goal was from Ustaz Shahrul whereas the second goal was from Cikgu Harlezam. Most SOAS FC players was playing very well in this game against the opposing team from the court team in which most of the ball posession was mostly with the home team.

During the second half, SOAS FC scored again by its midfield player, Cikgu Yusrin. Not long after the third goal, the opposing team managed to score which result in SOAS FC with three goals and the court team with two goals. SOAS FC again managed to score another goal with a terrific header from its defender, Cikgu Azri with the assist from a corner kick. With the most players were playing infield leaving most of the defender behind, the opposing team nearly managed to score but because SOAS FC have a good defending team from Cikgu Azri, Cikgu Arizal, Ustaz Shahroni and Cikgu Yusri. Almost at the end of the second half, SOAS FC again manage to score its fifth goal from Cikgu Yusrin. The final score result was that SOAS FC with five goals whereas the opposing team with two goals. Well done to the SOAS FC players eventhough one player that played in the second half never have a chance even once to touch the ball with its boots except for kick off. Congrats again to all the SOAS FC players. Hopefully they will perform the same way in the next game.

Scorer: Ustaz Shahrul, Cikgu Harlezam, Cikgu Yusrin(2) & Cikgu Azri.

Draw with CID

SOAS Arena, 3rd February 2010: The game that was played yesterday was a good effort for the home team. Even though SOAS FC was left behind on the first ten minutes with a simple goal from the CID players. This happens because of the miscommunication between the defenders who thought to that the CID players was in the offside position. Since the referee says to play on, there is no chance for the SOAS FC players to hold off the opposing team. But within a few minutes, SOAS FC players managed to equalize with a goal from Cikgu Harlezam. He managed to score his first goal of this 2010 season assists from a rebound from Ustaz Shahrul. Before the 1st half time wistle blown, the opposing team score again with its second goal leaving SOAS FC a goal behind.

With more substitute players available yesterday more than the previous games, more strikers play infield leaving the usual strikers to play as defensive midfielders. During the second half, SOAS FC managed to play well with more one to one. This makes the opposing team very difficult to encounter. Very shockingly with a good assists, the home team managed to score two goals in the second half. The second goal was scored by SOAS FC midfielders Cikgu Yusri with the assist from Cikgu Azreen whereas the third goal was scored simply by a long time awaited player non other than Cikgu Arshad with the assist from a long goal kick from Cikgu Md Arizal. This change the result to 3 goals to 2 to the home team.

Unfortunately, with a late challenge by SOAS FC defender, the referee did not hesitate to give a penalty kick to the opposing team eventhough the CID striker was said to have 'acted' on the fall. With this penalty kick being given, they managed to equalise in the last few seconds. Within a few seconds after kick off, the referee blows the whistle ending the 3 goal draw. Congratulation to all the SOAS FC players on playing the game which starts to see improvements than previous game since January 2010. Hopefully in the next game, SOAS FC will managed to stick with the win or draw game.

p/s: next game will be on the - Date: 6th of February 2010 - SOAS FC vs COURT - Time: Afternoon - Venue: Usual

Scorer: Cikgu Harlezam, Cikgu Yusrin, Cikgu Arshad

New SOAS FC Team Jersey of 2010

1st agenda:

To all players of SOAS FC, the jersey that all of us have confirmed was the nike 90. Red and White like a barrier (penanda jalan) type. hehe.. The price include Fooball Jersey and shorts, socks and jersey number. The price that havc been mentioned earlier was thirty Brunei Dollars (B$30.00) if want to pay more can jua..haha..no lah.. The price actually were a bit less but we round it up and the balance we will use it to buy a few new balls, a pump and probably gloves. About the jersey number, to make things easier just put a message on my 'pigeon' hole saying your name and the number you want and don't forget your shirt size. If you want to change your number, please put your previous number as well. If clash..you all runding sama sendiri dulu. I'll try to prepare the list. For me, my number is still 28. Booked already..haha..

Lost to Kg Menunggol

SOAS Arena, 30th January 2010: SOAS FC again was upset with its second lost of this new season with a terrible lost five goals to nill. During the first half, both teams was playing really well against each other but with speed and tactics of the players of the opposing team was better than ours, they managed to score their first goal. Kg Menunggol second game was from SOAS FC players own goal that was trying to clear the ball from the post. But unfortunately the ball spins towards the post and over the keeper. Chances were made mostly from the SOAS FC but "luck was not on our side" said from one of SOAS FC players. Kg Menunggol again add a few more goals which ends the forst half with three goals to nill.
During the second half, few substitutes players entered the field. With these players, SOAS FC almost made few goals but with the good experience of the Kg Menunggol goalie, those attempt was diminished. SOAS FC again made many shots on goal especially from the SOAS FC strikers (Cikgu Harlezam, Cikgu Haji Darul, Cikgu Zulhisham, Cikgu Haji Khairol Abdoh) midfielders (Cikgu Yusrin, Cikgu Azreen)and also the defender (Ustaz Shahroni, Cikgu Yusri, Cikgu Md Arizal) but again wasted. Fortunately Kg Menunggol again added two more goals which results in SOAS FC nill, Kg Menunggol, five goals. "We have the players but since this is just the second game this year, we haven't synchronize between each other yet because of the long term vacation from last years' game" says Cikgu Mohd Arizal. But the game today was quite an experience for us he added. The final result for this game was that SOAS FC lost to Kg Menunggol with five goals to nill.

First Friendly Match of 2010

SOAS Arena, 27th January 2010: A warm welcome to all the readers of this blogspot with a welcoming greeting Happy New Year 2010 especially to the players of SOAS FC. The first friendly match this year started as usual on the SOAS Arena Football Field when the home team was visited by one of our teachers (Cikgu Haji Khairol Abdoh) team of families and friends from kampong Tungku. During the first half of the match, SOAS FC has only 9 players whereas the opposing team has a full squad. Eventhough SOAS FC at that period were lack of number of players, they managed to lead the score one to nothing. The 1st scorer on this first game this year was delivered from a header from SOAS FC right defence player non other than Cikgu Azri Hj Sulaiman. Within the whole first half, only one goal was delivered, eventhough both teams try their best to overcome one another. At the end of the first half, the result was one nill to SOAS FC.
At the start of the second half, SOAS FC managed to have a full team players which comprises of ex-teachers, collegues and one student of SOAS College. Then with the position of the players were not properly positioned, SOAS FC have difficulties on scoring to the opposing team eventhough few chances were created. With the opposing team already knew the problems their facing can be solved, they managed to equalize within the early minute of the second half. Because of the miscommunication between the SOAS FC players, the opposing team again manage to score few more goals. The final result end when SOAS FC lost to Team HKA four goals to one.
Eventhough SOAS FC lost their first game today, they still have their football spirit to play their next game on Saturday afternoon 30th Januari 2010 against a team from Kampong Menunggol. See you all players on the next game and hopefully that SOAS FC will overcome any possible cause of losing a game.
