NEW JERSEY 1st LOST to PEGUMA

SOAS Arena, 22nd April 2010: SOAS FC was visited by the PEGUMA FC in which we got our 1st loss using the new SOAS FC green jersey. During the 1st half of the game, the visitors were able to score its first goal whereas the home team just scoreless. This results stayed until the end of the 1st half eventhough SOAS FC were trying their best to score goals.

2nd half of the game was played with both teams having their 11 players on the field. With games played every week but with our players on their wrong position, this made the team not balanced in terms of attacking and defending. this results in the 2nd goal from the visiting team which makes SOAS FC trailing by two goals to nill. But with the good performance of the home team that started to build up within the defender to the midfielder and to the srtikers, SOAS FC managed to score a goal from Cikgu Hajis. But unfortunately, our only scorer of that game made a very meraculious goal not to the visiting team, but to his own net with a clean unguarded header.

SOAS FC will be having its next game on Monday the 26th of April 2010. See you all in the field.

Scorer: Cikgu Hajis (1), Cikgu Hajiz (OG-1)

A Great Win By SOAS FC

SOAS Arena, 15th March 2010: A good start for the SOAS FC in the first half in which the first goal of this match was scored by our midfielder Cikgu Yusrin with the assist from Cikgu Azreen. Then the second goal was scored by the defence midfielder Cikgu Azreen through shooting from outside the penalty box. This score stayed until the end of the first half. With the great combination from the defender to the midfield to the winger and to the striker, SOAS FC managed to organize the game thoroughly and beautifully.

On the second half of the game, SOAS FC again managed to score its third goal from a long range kick from Cikgu Harlezam whereas the fourth goal again was scored by Cikgu Yusrin. This makes the game more interesting and enjoyable since SOAS FC managed to score a number of goals in this game. Good teamwork within the players who almost scored especially by Cikgu Yardi with a great run, Cikgu Yus with its sidekick another Cikgu Yusri with a good hold of the ball, Cikgu Hajis, Ustaz Shahroni, Cikgu Arizal, Ustaz Mazlan and many more players with good and confident team play within them. Then with a good pass from one of the SOAS FC players, our right winger Cikgu Harlezam again scored his second goal in this game through a simple kick to the right side of the post. Because of the enjoyment of scoring, the opposing team managed to score 3 goals within 10minutes. There's also one few incident that made SOAS FC players a bi frustrated because of the judgement of the referree where few fouls was not given to the home team where Cikgu Yardi was tripped in the penalty box but the refferee gavea corner kick instead. Cikgu Harlezam was tripped too but no fouls given, Cikgu Azreen was triped and thrown over with shoulder hit the ground first but no fouls given and actually lots more.

But our striker, Cikgu Arshad, was able to score SOAS FC sixth goal of the game with his new white boots. Congrats to the SOAS FC players playing in the 1st and the 2nd half with fun and confidence.

p/s: Sorry to the readers of the less information on this game.

Beaten again by the same team

SOAS Arena, 10th March 2010: SOAS FC again was beaten by the same team as in the last game. But for several reasons. Reason 1: No goal keeper available (have to rely on the defender), Reason no 2: Lack of players (only 8 players were playing in the first half), Reaon no 3: Still thinking..hehe.

SOAS FC managed to score its first goal through Cikgu Arshad. But unfortunately, the opposing team managed to equalize not long before the end of the first half. In the second half, the opposing team managed lead by two goals to one. But most of the ball posession belong to SOAS FC around 60-40. Great work for the SOAS FC players on playing this game evenhough we lost again but no matter what the result is, we're still the SOAS FC that enjoy every game.

Since SOAS FC have their new jersey, the others that have not purchase, may buy it themselves at crown sport in Delima 1. Same building as Jollibee. Or if you have any questions about the jersey, you can contact Cikgu Md Arizal or Cikgu Hajis.

Scorer: Cikgu Arshad (1)
