Defeated again because...

SOAS Arena, 6th May 2010: SOAS FC was again visited by the Museum Department but unfortunately, they were not playing with their usual players as before. Instead, many of them were from divisions players. With the super goalie available, we were able to 'almost' win.

During the first half of the game, the home team was lack of 1 player in which we kinda loan for a few minutes in the first half. This made the formation not really in a proper way. Our post was injected by three goals in the first half. But most of the goals was in the offside position where the referee just say to carry on. This nade the home players very frustrated in this half. Then our striker made almost to deliver a goal but just pass near the post. But lastly, our striker, Cikgu Alikhan managed to score from a long range lob kick.

The second half started with a great wisdom from our goalie used to be 'Messiman', where he saved many shots from the opposing team. Instead with the good connection in this second half, SOAS FC managed to score two goals leveling the visitors team that was from Cikgu Yusrin and Ustaz Mazlan where he played as the right winger. Great saves were made again by our 'Messiman' including a great throw body and also tipping the ball pass the overhead post.

But just at one time, the luck was not up to him. The visiting striker managed to score a goal from the inside of the penalty box. Even though we try so many tactics, we almost managed to score few goals but because of the arrangement of the players was not as usual and together with the unavailable of the supersub, we fail to finished the game with a draw.

At the end of the second half, the home team lost by one goal. But this will never mourn the home players because this was considered as the preparation for the next game against veterans and youngsters from Kroniz FC this Saturday afternoon.

Not forgetting the other players for trying and playing so hard with limited number of players especially to the defenders; Ustaz Shahroni, Cikgu Arizal, Cikgu Yusri and Cikgu Irwan.

Scorer: CIkgu Alikhan (1), Cikgu Yusrin (1) & Ustaz Mazlan (1).
