Trashed by...
SOAS Arena, 12th May 2010: Just a short report. SOAS FC was trashed with six goals to nil by the teachers and x-teachers of the Temburong District (Secondary and Primary Schools). Don't give up SOAS FC eventhough we are tired and exhausted by the game played of 3 times a week.
Hopefully next game we will definitely win against the Beribi team.

3rd Defeat
SOAS Arena, 8th May 2010: SOAS FC again was visited by Kroniz FC comprises of education officers, senior education officers, government and also private sectors players. And SOAS FC comprises of mostly teachers and students. During the first half, the visiting team scored its first goal and a few minutes after that, the home team managed to equalize the score from Cikgu Alikhan. Then the visiting team managed again to score two more goals. This score remains 3 goals to 1 to Kroniz FC.
During the second half of the game, again the visiting team again manages to score another two more goals one from a near range and the other from a header. But SOAS FC never backed down but instead managed to score from a long range kick by Cikgu Harlezam. Eventhough the home ream realize that few of the visiting team goals was in the offside position, still this never change the result of SOAS FC was backed by 3 goals. This results stayed until the end of the second half.
This is the 2nd time that we've lost in the three games that we've meet since 2009. Hopefully next time, we will surely win with more players to be available during the game.
Not forgetting all the players that have been supportive during the game. Eventhough that we've lost does not mean that we will stay losing. Our next game will be on Monday against the PSJD.
Scorer: Cikgu Alikhan (1) and Cikgu Harlezam (1).

Defeated again because...
SOAS Arena, 6th May 2010: SOAS FC was again visited by the Museum Department but unfortunately, they were not playing with their usual players as before. Instead, many of them were from divisions players. With the super goalie available, we were able to 'almost' win.
During the first half of the game, the home team was lack of 1 player in which we kinda loan for a few minutes in the first half. This made the formation not really in a proper way. Our post was injected by three goals in the first half. But most of the goals was in the offside position where the referee just say to carry on. This nade the home players very frustrated in this half. Then our striker made almost to deliver a goal but just pass near the post. But lastly, our striker, Cikgu Alikhan managed to score from a long range lob kick.
The second half started with a great wisdom from our goalie used to be 'Messiman', where he saved many shots from the opposing team. Instead with the good connection in this second half, SOAS FC managed to score two goals leveling the visitors team that was from Cikgu Yusrin and Ustaz Mazlan where he played as the right winger. Great saves were made again by our 'Messiman' including a great throw body and also tipping the ball pass the overhead post.
But just at one time, the luck was not up to him. The visiting striker managed to score a goal from the inside of the penalty box. Even though we try so many tactics, we almost managed to score few goals but because of the arrangement of the players was not as usual and together with the unavailable of the supersub, we fail to finished the game with a draw.
At the end of the second half, the home team lost by one goal. But this will never mourn the home players because this was considered as the preparation for the next game against veterans and youngsters from Kroniz FC this Saturday afternoon.
Not forgetting the other players for trying and playing so hard with limited number of players especially to the defenders; Ustaz Shahroni, Cikgu Arizal, Cikgu Yusri and Cikgu Irwan.
Scorer: CIkgu Alikhan (1), Cikgu Yusrin (1) & Ustaz Mazlan (1).

Defeated
SOAS Arena; 4th May 2010. Just short and simple, SOAS FC lost to team HKA seven to five in which the home team manage to make an early lead five to two but was unlucky in the second half which the visiting team manage to score five. The home team scorer was from Cikgu Alikhan, Cikgu Yusrin, Cikgu Harlezam and CIkgu Zulhisham. The result of this defeat was unpredictable because of the absence of linesman and the penalty kick that was awarded to the visiting team in which it was a fair challenge by Cikgu Arizal.
Next game will be on Thursday 6th of May against the Museum Department. This will be our 2nd match this season with the visiting team.
Scorer: Cikgu Alikhan (2), Cikgu Yusrin (1), Cikgu Harlezam (1) and Cikgu Zulhisham (1).

3rd Victory to SOAS FC
SOAS Arena: 1st May 2010: In this game, the home team was visited by the away team from the PABIKA FC. As the players noticed, most of the away team players were young and comprises of SOAS and X-SOAS students. Eventhough they are not really experience but their speed of attack was very job well done. But we have also a winger with good speed that is Ustaz Haslin. With him around, it is easier for the defender and the midfield players to pass the ball. With his passing as an assists, many opportunities was given but luck was not in our side. Unfortunately no scored was eliminated by them in the 1st half. Same for SOAS FC, some goals would have been achieve but because of the condition of the field made us very difficult to play. The game was leveled scoreless in the 1st half.
During the 2nd half of the game, the home team had many opportunities as well as the visiting team. But with the good performance of the SOAS FC goal keeper which he mostly saved the post from attacks of the visiting team. A very good job well done. To the defenders, also a very good communication within our players, eventhough one of our defender, jersey 20 was toppled over with face first on the ground. Around 15 minutes after the first half whistle was blown, SOAS FC managed to score its goal through a very high ball but just a few feet from the goal post. You can say a very lucky opportunity and very well eliminated.
The final whistle blows with the result in a win for SOAS FC with one to nill. Eventhough SOAS FC during that game was lack of star players like Cikgu Arshad (MessiMan), Cikgu Yusri Tuah, Cikgu Hajis, Cikgu Md Arizal and Ustaz Shahroni, SOAS FC still managed to win the game. Congrats to the players playing that day and hope with the star players available in the next game we will be more superior in controlling the game.
Scorer: Ustaz Shahrul (1).
